"Magic
Your
Way"
Tickets
These are
now the
"standard"
tickets
for all
Disney
guests
whether
staying
on-site or
off.
As
there are
now many
variables,
rather
than just
a couple
of
different
prices,
the
easiest
way to
show the
different
costs is
in a
chart.
ALL
PRICES ARE
SHOWN IN
US DOLLARS
AND INCLUDE
LOCAL TAX
(currently
approx
6.5%).

So
what are
these
ticket
options
all
about...?????
Magic
Your Way
Base
Ticket
This
provides
admission
to any one
of the
four main Walt
Disney
World
Theme
Parks (Magic
Kingdom,
Epcot,
Disney-MGM,
Animal
Kingdom)
for each
day of the
ticket.
This is
the most
basic
ticket. As
you can
see, the
6-10 day
passes
offer by
far the
best
value. Note: If you leave the park you can go
back to the same park on the same day.
All
other
options
are added
to the MYW
base
ticket... and their price is added to the base ticket
price...
These
options
are:
Park
Hopper Option
Visit all four theme
parks (if you can
manage it) on the same
day for each
day of your base
ticket. You will
notice that the cost
is the same - approx $58 US - to hop, irrespective of duration (2-10
days). On a 1 -day
ticket you could "hop"
for $37.28 (a saving of more than $50 US off the cost
of paying a second
full admission). For
7-days, the value is much better, of course, costing a mere $8.37 US per
day.
In our experience,
there is almost no
reason NOT to take
this option as it
offers so much more
flexibility for only a
small extra cost.
Water Park Fun
& More Option
With this option you
get a certain number
of "plus"
visits - the number
changes with the
duration of the base
ticket. A
"plus" visit can be one of
the following: Disney's
Typhoon Lagoon
Water Park, Disney's
Blizzard Beach
Water Park, 9 hole round of golf,
DisneyQuest
Indoor Interactive
Theme Park, Disney's
Wide World of Sports
Complex. Again, the cost
for this option is the same, regardless of length of stay so, again, you get better
value the longer the
duration of the pass
that you buy.
No
expiration
option
All
regular
passes
expire 14
days after
first use.
If you
purchase
the no
expiration
option,
then
unused
days and
other
options
never
expire.
Ever. You
will be
able to
come back
in 40
years and
still use
them (as
long as
Disney
World is
still
there, I
suppose!).
If your
kids were
under 10
at the
time that
you
purchased
the
tickets,
but have
since
turned 10,
then you
will just
need to
pay the
extra cost
of an
adult
ticket,
based on
the
prevailing
rate at
the time.
When
Disney first introduced the Magic Your Way pass, this option
was a lot less expensive. If you were going to go for just a
few days, it was often an easy choice to upgrade to a longer
pass with the "no expiry" option. Disney must have
realised what good value they were giving, as recently these
prices have become much more expensive.
Why
do we show
the prices
in US
dollars?
We can
sell these
passes in
Canadian
dollars
(through a
Canadian
Disney
Wholesaler)
or in US
dollars.
In most
instances,
in reality
you will
pay less
if you pay
in US
currency.
We
recommend
that you
check with
your
credit
card
company to
make sure
that you
don't have
a fixed
(usually
unfavourable)
exchange
rate with
the US
dollar
before
deciding
on which
currency
is best
for you.
