General Terms and Conditions
for Center Parcs Europe bookings made through
"Let's Take the Kids Travel Agency"

How to book
Our agency works on a "request for space" basis with Center Parcs Europe. Your request for accommodation can be made to our agency by telephone, email or fax.

Prices
Prices quoted are in Euros (€) but will be charged in Canadian dollars. Prices are subject to change until the reservation has been confirmed and a deposit received. All rates given are inclusive of VAT. Bookings for Center Parcs in the Netherlands and Belgium are subject to a nominal tourist tax (currently approx 6€ per person) that will be added to the rate.

Payment
Payment must be made to "Let’s Take the Kids Travel Agency" by certified cheque or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express). Your verbal authorization to use your credit card for deposit and/or final payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate authorization draft.

Non-payment by due date will result in cancellation of your booking with appropriate penalties.

● A non-refundable deposit of €300.00 will hold a booking confirmed up to 46 days prior to arrival, at which time any balance owing must be paid.
● Full payment is required for confirmed bookings made 45 days or less prior to arrival.

Within one week of reservation, "Let’s Take the Kids Travel Agency" will send a confirmation of the booking and an invoice. We will also send a booklet about the resort, offering additional information, a map, and prices for meal plans, activity plans, etc. as long as we have these in stock. (If not in stock at time of booking, they will be sent as soon as new ones are received.)

"Let’s Take the Kids Travel Agency" will issue accommodation vouchers once full payment has been received by our office.

Vouchers for reservations made within 3 weeks of a scheduled arrival will be emailed, and will need to be printed by the client.

Changes and/or Cancellations of Confirmed Reservations:
We will do our best to assist you with any reasonable requests for changes to resort/cottage type/date/length of stay, if the request is received in writing at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. All requests are subject to availability as well as to an administrative fee of $100.00 (CAD) per booking. No requests for changes within 15 days of scheduled arrival can be considered.

The administrative charge is in addition to any difference between the initial rate and the new rate. No refunds will be made if the new rate is less expensive than the original rate. There will be no refunds for unused days.

Cancellation Charges
Refunds for cancellation of a reservation will only be taken into consideration once notice is received in writing at "Let's Take the Kids Travel Agency" office.

Charges for cancellation will be as follows:
● 29 days or more prior to arrival - €300
● 28 to 15 days prior to arrival - 50% of the price, plus the €300 non-refundable deposit
● 14 days or fewer prior to arrival - 100% of the price

It is strongly recommended that you take cancellation insurance at time of booking. We can offer cancellation insurance for Canadian and US residents. Please contact us for quotes. Insurance premiums are non-refundable.

Liability of "Let's Take the Kids Travel Agency"
"Let's Take the Kids Travel Agency" acts only in the capacity of agent for the client or for Center Parcs Europe Ltd, and the goods and services rendered and, as such, maintains no control over the personnel, properties, operations or services provided by Center Parcs. While we believe Center Parcs to be a reputable operator, we cannot be held responsible for their acts or omissions.
"Let's Take the Kids Travel Agency" will not assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, cost or expenses arising out of personal injury, accidents or death, loss, damage or delay of baggage or other property, or delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment or frustration, whether physical or mental resulting from any of the following:
● the act of omission of any party other than "Let's Take the Kids Travel Agency" or its employees.
● sickness, theft, labour disputes, mechanical breakdown, quarantine, government actions, weather, war, acts of terrorism, or any other cause beyond our direct control.
● your failure to obtain the documentation required for your trip, such as passports, visas and certificates (in which case you will also not be entitled to any refund).
● your failure to follow instructions including, but not limited to, airport departure times, baggage handling, and check-in and check-out times.

Photographic representations and resort descriptions.
All photographic representations featured on the Center Parcs section of the www.letstakethekidstravel.com website, have been provided by Center Parcs. The descriptions were written by our travel agents, in close conjunction with Center Parcs documentation, and are, in our opinion, true representations of the resorts. The pictures and descriptions are representational of the resorts, but are not a guarantee that everything will be exactly as depicted upon arrival at the resorts.
