Belgium, though a small country by any standards, has many areas and cities of interest. A stay at De Vossemeren (which is very close to the Dutch border) puts you approx an hour and a half from Brussels & Antwerp in Belgium, and around 2 and a half hours from Amsterdam in Holland.

Amsterdam	125 miles	Visit Anne Frank's House, ride canal bikes, visit the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, see windmills, rent bicycles, take the Circle Tram ride - and much more... Too far for a day trip but good for airport connections.
Bruges	105 miles	A very pretty, well-preserved medieval city.
